do you recommend a S13 SE Coupe w/ a RB25DET?

i am currently contemplating purchasing a black 1992 Nissan 240sx SE coupe with a RB25det swap he posts it with:"This is as close as you can get to the real deal! Up for sale is a one of a kind 240sx Skyline R33 GTS-T Nismo Black RB25DET. The Mods were made by pro techs all paperwork is available and as well as a clean title. Car is good for 400HP with tunning right now.. So you know what that means! Rrrmmmmmmmmm Rrmmm! Car comes with Blitz SBC dual boost controller, Apexi turbo timrer with batt, A/F, O2 voltage meters. HKS BOV, Nissan 4 piston caliper rotors, 24/8/3" FMIC, 3" tenabi mandrel cat back exhaust with a bad *** custom one piece downpipe from turbo back. New rotors, paint, wheels- Gunmetal Deep Dish Staggerd Rims, tires, autometer ultra light boost gauge, HUD display, flex-a-lite pusher fan, s14 radiator and much more. Over $14000.00 invested in parts alone and not including Labor. This is my baby! I need the money really bad. I haven't honestly put more then 1 week worth of driving. I have all papers and receips and pictures of the whole build from day one. Compression test ran 155 across the whole bank. I don't know what kind of clutch it has, but it's deffin. not stock. New trans fluid, oil, filter, Denso Iridium spark plugs. Feel free to bring your mechanic and have him chech it out if you like. I'm also willing to drive it almost anywhere to a mechanic. This is a bargian! a practical giveaway for the price I'm listing... Be the king of the Road with this beast... We have not raced the car nor have we even got on the trottle since this car has only 2 weeks of completion."

i looked at the carfax and it looks like the body has 250k miles!but the motor and transmission have about 35k miles

i thought it best to ask a few people who have a history with this car?any suggestions would be very very appreciated

I would like to do my own project, so if I were in the position to get it I wouldnt, because I wanna do the swap ect. on my own, but hey, its nice and clean, if you want something swapped already then go for it!!!!!! good luck again

and just seems like the swap was done lazily. thats some ****ty vacuum line routing if ive ever seen some.

I don't see 14k worth of parts in there. I would see if I could bring him down to 9.5k the most.

don't see 14k either... strange that he doesnt know what clutch it has? basically means you can assume he didnt do a timing belt/water pump/thermostat either...

i'd be wary of this too. body looks pretty fresh on the outside, but its the little crap that is hard to see in pics that matters for any swapped car. wiring, mounts, overall build quality, etc. since you don't know much about the swap yet, befriend someone who has done the swap or knows a lot about it, and have them take a look at it before you consider buying. if you run into problems they're going to be tough to solve since you didn't put the car together, plus not many normal shops will be willing to help you out.

400 hp my ***. Like kamin said, with just those "mods" ( spark plugs, gimme a break ) there is no way it could be that high.

Here is an idea, spend at least near that much and build your own car, you'll be happier with it and know what the fck your doing when a problem arrives.
