do you need to know transmisson when buying a wiring harness?

I am buying a wiring harness for my 1990 240sx with ka24e. My car is a manual and i wanted to know if I need a manual wiring harness. I dont care about the rev limiter. Does it matter?

If its for the engine then no it dont matter.
