Here in the states, It's called the Magnuson Moss Act. My brother works at the Nissan dealership where I bought my car. every time I bring my car in for something, they can't wait to see what I've done to it.Rolling Estonian wrote:Adding mods will not void your warranty.
If you need a part replaced under warranty, the only way a modding your car would hurt you is if Nissan could prove that a modification you made directly caused the breakdown.
So go for it!

its the dude that you tell what you are there for and writes you up when you first go in, and looks you up on the computer and stuff... i dont know if you call him a tech or whatRolling Estonian wrote:you have some dirty techs there, I'd stop going to that location. It's not the Techs call as to what is or isn't covered under warranty.

This is correct. I take my car in and they love what I have done to it. I even asked them about how modding effects my warranty and they said exactly this.Rolling Estonian wrote:Adding mods will not void your warranty.
