I've done it before, it's not impossible, just takes some patience. It's been several years, but the general steps as I remember them:
1) Put the car on jack stands
2) Remove the fuel tank/pump cover
3) Loosen the clamps & spray area liberally w/ WD-40/Liquid Wrench/similar
4) From here, a plier/clamping wrench of some sort & large needle nose pliers should help you loosen the hose - first get it to move left & right, then push it out.
5) From under the car, you can get to the other side of the rubber hose - may be easier w/ the passenger tire removed
I was able to do it w/ just that. However, if the hoses are REALLY on there, you can always cut them off w/ a razor blade since you are replacing them anyway. Of course, I'd look through from under the car to see if you can get to everything first.
