Have you tried regular 87 octane?

I did mine after exhaust and headers. The only thing I can figure is that with the test pipes the ecu isn't getting the right readings so it runs the car rich. No proof, just a guess. My exhaust got alot blacker and so did my car....not to mention my friends telling me that when I punched it black smoke came outta my exhaust. It ran fine just rich...thus the need for the cel fix spacers. Now the only way I drop below 19 mpg is if I go to track day....and no I don't drive like G'ma

I think you would find similar results without the test pipes, just do the spacer first, it adds a lot of engine noise in the upper rpms... much more than I expected
