I have an 06 M35x with about 54k miles on it, all my friends tell me oh the G is way better. Is it faster? yes but not by a whole excluding the g37, haha that's a differen't class.

What do you guys think about the M35x, I love it, it is pretty powerful, very roomy, great for long trips, sporty, I just don't like how they don't have too many options to tune especially since it uses teh vq35de motor just like the older G's and Fx35

Also, I take it since the M weighs more, I have a better chance of not flipping over, I have done sharp turns and driving it like I think it is a G and it grips the road, especially in the winter. It's just all that extra weight.

Hm Not sure what kind of answers you looking for but here is what I think.

I drove few times on business trips M35X M45/ Ex35. The M is just too big and heavy. With the same way I drive my G I get worse MPG also on the M's. I just drove the Maxima today also and felt the same way. I am not a big fan of the body style either on the M. It is not bad it just not for me. Now if we are talking about the upcoming M56 oh hell yeah. It is pure sex. Lot sportier look nice curves. They fixed up the most things on it Now the rear end isn't so flat. When they will be out I know I will be jelaous to see it.

I think you M owners picked their cars to suit their needs and We G owners picked ours to suit our needs.

Look is subjective so please don't take this a wrong way.

I am not sure what you mean it is heavier so it won't flip that easy. Well it is a little more complicated than that. Center of gravity, suspention, tires etc plays a big part of it.

I'm a G owner who drove a M35x for 3 years and then bought a G37x.At the time I bought the M, is was more sophisticated than the G. That has changed over the years with the G having getting almost all the M features, more power, lighter on its feet, and a better transmission. While the M was larger than I needed, it was an enjoyable ride. Now, if only the G had the better voice command control of the M...

I'd swap my G Coupe for a newer M any day of the week.

Agree with Zozo, for me the M is bigger than what I like. The wife likes it fine as well as the new Maxima. Both, not for me. Both very fine cars!!!The G Sedan fits me nicely!!! It's as big as I want to go.

I also like the 350/370's very much too!!! But, they are just a bit too small for me for a DD.So, the G Coupe is about as small as I want to go as well. However, when I hit the lottery I'll have something the size of the 370.

I took an M home for a few days. I loved it. Dynamically, its not far off from a G, but I would be just as happy with an M as with my G. The upcoming Y51 model is amazing though. I'd love to have a 420hp 339 cubic inch direct injected VVEL big block V8 rumbling before me. . Both me and steve are patiently waiting for our exclusive test drive. And as far as being heavier and flipping, you'd have to have a thorough comprehension about the laws of motion relative to center of gravity and balance when you would try to flip a car, as in practically any situation at all, if one flips, the other would as well.

-What he said.

They are just too different cars in different classes. If you prefer the M over the G, then more power to you. But by you coming to the G forum section, I think you are going to get more G support. Don't need our approval on which is better or not. I think they are both great cars. My father in law drives the M and I think it's great. But, it's not for me.

My Mom has an 07 M35x and I drive it often. It's a BEAUTIFUL piece of machinery. But as everyone said, it's a totally different car.

Depends what you want in a car. When I take a certain client to lunch or have a long road trip, the M is the way to go.

M is pure luxury and the G is a drivers car. You feel every bump and twist and turn in a G where as the M just seamlessly floats on air.

As for speed, I'll smoke my Mom's M all day long.In winter, I would LOVE to have the option to drive the M and store the G. It's a tank in the snow and grips 100x better then a G coupe.
