do you ever do really dumb stuff?

I dont understand it. I looked at the clock when I got up this morning, I looked at it like 50 times, knowing full well my class was at 9:30. I looked directly at the time reading 9:45 (only noticing the last 2 digits), thinking "oh cool! I've got 45 minutes till class!. I hop into the shower, change, come out and look at the clock again: 10:10. THEN I finally realize that it's 40 minutes after my class started. What the hell was I thinking.

I dont know why, I do stuff like this sometimes-- mistakes that just have no cause at all... really stupid stupid mistakes. Any of you guys do anything equally stupid? Haha comeon, make me feel like I'm not alone!

Sometimes if I fall asleep when I get home after work and I wake up, it's dark I think I'm late for work for the next day. LOL

SOME TIMES I LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE CLOCK WHEN I GET UP AND I SEE THE WRONG TIME SO I RUSH TO GET READY THEN I LOOK AGAIN AND ITS LIKE 3-4 HOURS BEFORE I NEED TO LEAVE.

Today I convinced myself that my Govt. class started at 11:30, however it actually starts at 11:00. Hence, I was 30 minutes late to the test. I blame it all on Fiznat for jinxing me with this thread.

What I do most often is turn the alarm off, to get up, and then almost instantly fall back asleep.

But I do other dumb stuff ALL the time.

And, yes I do dumb stuff all the time too, some on purpose, others on accident. The other day i hit the snooze twice then got sick of hitting it so I turned the alarm off. I am supposed to be at work at 8, but I ended up not even getting out of bed till 9:30. I'm not sure if that was on purpose or accident.

hahaah yeah I tried to fix that problem by moving the alarm clock across the room so I have to get up to turn it off... but now I've mastered the sleepwalk/snooze button press technique, and I'm always delerious in the morning anyways-- so when I look at the clock I guess my brain just never works right, I always see different numbers or somehow think my class starts later or something...

WHAHA for me, i just cant do two things at one time! if i am driving somewhere, but thinking about other things, i can easily miss the enterence or the exit...LOL

I used to do this all the time. I think I did it 3 days in a row once a couple years ago. Hasn't happened more than once this year though, so its all good.

I did something really dumb...

I was sick, so i was sleeping all day/night so my hours were ****ed up. I was supposed to work at 6:30pm... but i woke up from a nap at 5:30am, so i got up, showered, etc... and drove to work (15 minutes). I got there at 6:15am, then realized i didn't have to work for another 12 hours. D'oh!

oh god! that was some funny sh*t!!!!

what i do sometimes in class to not to fall asleep is that i think of funny things that happened.....but sometimes i am so into it that i laughed out loud..eheh.

probably, I think we've all done stuff like that though, I stayed up like nearly all weekend and found myself thinking sunday was friday for some reason, I kept thinking I had to work and all that other weird stuff...

back when I was a kid I pretended to be a foot ball player and recieved a black eye after trying to tackle the couch:D

no coz i have totally done that! except i wasnt working...i had came back from a camping trip in which i never slept pretty much, so when i came back home, i slept, but for like a day..it was about 5:30pm when i went to bed, then i woke up at 6pm, i thought i only slept for half an hour, but i slept for a whole day!!! ehhe.

it took me 5 minutes to figure out how to turn off the alarm on my clock radio one morning. couldn't remember how to do it at all. I grabbed the remote for the stereo and hit the power button, but that didn't work. I finally picked it up, an after looking at all sides of it, tried the alarm switch.

Yeah, I did something stupid last night. I went out with some friends of mine. While out and about, I established all sorts of good rapport with two girls who I had just met. When it came time for them to move onto the next bar, they invited me to go along. Instead of saying yes and going, I stayed with the group of girls who I showed up with, foolishly thinking that I had better options with this one 10 in the group.

So yeah, I ended up sleeping alone last night. I didn't even bother to get a number from one of the girls I had good rapport with. So in addition to admitting that I'm dumb, I'd like to also state that teases suck, and two 8's are better than a 10 any night of the week.
