Simple enough question, do you believe the latest political polls?

I have heard some interesting points of view on this one and thought I would get the opinions of everyone else here. I have heard all of the following:

-The media is acting like its close so people watch the news/ads-Obama is getting slighted because they don't poll cell phones-McCain is getting slighted by evening polling-The media is pretending its close to make more Obama supporters show up to vote-The media is putting Obama in the lead to trick his supporters into not voting

Anybody have any suggestions on what to do if we can't trust any informatino we receive?

When it's all said and done, the only poll that matters is the one on Election Day.

Anything prior to that is speculation, and fulfills our hunger for instant gratification.

All of the factors you pointed out (and more) come into play, and fairness is irrelevant at this point, since nothing is riding on it.

Nope. It's seems not many do, but I don't believe it because this is a political poll.
