question:

Did speedstar ever make a standard size rs8 wheel with enough backspacing to fit Z32 front brakes?

can they be custom ordered?

On that note... I bought my s13 with the z32 brake upgrade in the front... and Im seriously thinking about getting rid of them to get some watanabe's... unless anybody knows of any watanabes that fit, or of a possible easy brake swap that will fit?

i have to switch to q45 brakes to fit the wheels i want to run, if you are dead set on the watanabes you will probably have to go the same route.

I had some watanabe 16x8 +25 up front and had to use 15mm spacers to clear z brakes, although 8-10mms of clearance would have sufficed.

Get some hubcentric spacers and call it a day

I am tempted to ditch my five lug, Z brakes and all that nonsense just to run some Watanabes. Or even some of the nicer meshies......damn you 5 lug!! damn you!!

I have done some research, and aparently there are some extremely rare "high disk" models of rs8's that are designed to fit over larger brakes... *sigh
