hey all! new to nico but been browsing for a while here. so theres a guy in my area trying to sell his piggy hatch (1990) with no motor and clean title. its been sitting like that for years now. 2yr i think maybe more. has bout 95 original miles on the body. body is clean except dent on driver fender which is replacable (or bang out). the trunk has 2 holes where the original spoiler was so i think there might be rust in there. i didnt get to see the inside of it or engine bay cuz the owner brought the wrong set of keys (it was stored at his friends house). i'll take sum pics tomorrow when i go see it again. i dont think its worth 1200. what do u guys think? thanks in advance for any responses

how rotted is it? 95k on a 1990 is pretty good also hiw bads the rear quarter? i paid 1000 for a mint no rust/rot s13 se

1200 + towing = do the math. if it was running then it's a different story. you already answered your question.

the qp is excellent condition........i think. lol. unsure bout rusts yet but didnt see any exterior wise. i haven't looke under the body yet too so i'll be doing that and take pics tomorrow. i'm just seeing what u guys think would be worth it.

my bad i didnt really read it its only a fender dent? fenders can be replaced. if the cars rustless and u can get it for like 7 or 800 id say di it IF ITS RUSTLESS

I wouldnt personally, but in my area there are clean shells all over Craigslist for 6-800 range. Saw one guys selling his for 1300 but it had suspension mods and a bangin paint job.

240's are hard to come by where i live. maybe even rare. haha. well then damondread maybe i can send u sum money and u send me a coupe shell lol. but a running one would be better

running S13s go for ~1600 here all day long.

Unless It's SPOTLESS and has EVERY SCREW for the interior and there is NOTHING else wrong with it, 800 is pushing it, 1000 is overkill.

Yea 1200 is not worth it, I bought my 93 hatch se with a ka in it (spun bearing though) with absolutly no rust or anything for 600, no dents either. So yea but its up to you go with what feels right

I'd say if he's not willing to go lower than 1K for a shell then that shell will be there for a LONG time.

1200....? A Semi-clean s13 hb shell? You can find a running 240 for 1200 easily. I wouldn't give him more then 500. Hell i know people who got RUNNING 240's for 500.

that is true but where i live finding a running 240 for 500-800 is like trying to find kryptonite. and the owners that do want to sell their 240's here will charge u an arm and leg. lol. i live in alaska btw and theres only a handfull of 240's up here.
