basically what the subject says, a friend of mine sent me an email with a link and said i should get this kit for my na, the kit turned out to be a greddy upgrade kit for the tt z but either way it got me thinking... do they make turbo kits for the na, if not can you just buy an upgrade kit and bolt it onto your na, and run lower psi then the tt because of then na's higher compression? heres the link if you would like to look at it.

http://www.andysautosport.com/...reddy/

ignore the price andy's auto sport overprices all there stuff.

other than whats listed in the product description what else would i need to run this kit on my car?

You would only be able to run at the most 4psi, which is not worth it. You would have to pull the engine to put the turbos in, buy new manifolds, buy all the piping, and that is just the beginning. You would be better off just swapping in a whole TT motor.

For the prices of the kits and the fact that the motors are just different enough to be annoying, just swap the twin turbo motor.

to turbo an na, you'd need turbos, piping, ecu upgrade, larger fuel injectors, bungs added to your oil pan, piping for oil and ater to and fron the turbo's, presumably and intercooler or intercoolers and piping, and you have a turbo hihg compression engine that can run limited amouts of boost, which si why it's always recomended to buy the front cut, it's cheaper and easier, and it gets covered twice a week

The turbo kits for the NA z32 is called the Twin Turbo model lol

I am sure you know that tho...

um you can bolt on turbos and run all the lines, change the ECU, and tune.Z1 and Ashspec snagged 15psi at 350hp with TT injectors and turbos with some 20 odd dyno pulls n track tests. They drove the car for months with that setup running good reliable #s.

so to cause hell in this post, you could do that

Please do not use one instance of something done for a short time to encourage people to do things to their cars that will cost them alot of money when it goes boom.

Someone like yourself, who was smart enough to do that TT swap as opposed to attempting to turbo an NA should know better.

Just saying nsrZ32, its been done, Ash and Z1 still stands by their tuning on it to this day. 15psi, fine run 10, and you are playing it safe.

Its hard to believe I know, but since it is proven you can do it I think people should know all the routes they can take. Proper tuning does wonders and you have to be able to find someone to do it or be ready to do it yourself. Its a professional only job, no lie, but it can be done

Also it is one instance, but a credible one. How does one instance become many nsr?

by people running with the idea and making it their own...

Encourage what you like. I'm just saying, a shop that does nothing but specialize in Z32's and has a bottomless budget is VERY different than some kid who posts up on here about bolting a turbo kit to his NA. Lets seem him, you or I tune it and run 15psi in our driveway.

Its not a matter of me attempting to hold anyone back, its a matter of encouraging people to do it right, not throw parts at it and hope for the best. I for one, would not look forward to all the posts from pissed off members who had their cars blow up because the perfect scenario didn't work out for them.

Well the thing is it is easy to tune, if you would like the long story I could give it.

But in short Ash sends the files on this build to anyone if they buy the Zemulator. If you build to the same specs, plug and play the Zemulator with his tuning files you essentially could easily do this in your driveway. Just like any other chip or ECU reflash.

Its pretty neat, thats why I give so much to this idea. I trust the work Ash and Z1 does
