i think i read somewhere that these would work just fine on an s13 but i cant find where i read that at. so heres the link http://www.frsport.com/Energy-7-1117G-R ... 16581.html so would those work?

also i cant find very many reviews on project silvia parts. i am thinking about buying their tension rods but im curious if anybody else has any experience/reviews of project silvia first.

Thanks,
Mike

Those are fine. Energy suspension is a pretty reputable company for replacement bushings. They're great alternatives for solid bushings and should really tighten up your rear end. Project silvia has decent products. There isn't anything special about them that makes them any better than others, but for the price, they're just right.

ha thanks again pandapants. i was researching some more last night and i finally found where i read that they would work on an s13 so i ordered the energy suspension bushings last night.

also i didnt really expect the project silvia tension rods to be amazing but i was looking for something better than megan racing or circuit sports but i didnt wana spend $200+ on spl, peak or pbm although the pbm tension rods look beefy and bawlin as hell.

how do you think the project silvia tension rods compare to megan racing or circuit sports? are the project silvias worth the extra cash over megan racing?

No prob. I don't have personal experience with Megan, but I do with Circuit Sports. I always found CS to be better than Megan, and if I don't like my CS product, I couldn't imagine Megan to be any better. The heim joints is what seems to be the down fall of these products. They usually have small articulation, bind easily, and go out faster than others. If you want, you can buy their products and replace the heims with better ones. I guarantee it will feel different. I don't remember where I heard it, probably zilvia, but some people mentioned that project silvia had some decent heims in their arms. If you're looking at affordable tension rods though, check out STK from phase2motortrend.

I have them, and love them. they're super beefy, plenty of adjustment and the heims felt good. Shipped For like $125, I'm happy.

Man i have looked at every possible brand of tension rods besides the STK's. I completely forgot about that brand. I think im gona take your word for it and give the STK's a shot. As always i really appreciate the help.

Megan tension rods are GARBAGE!!!! Never again!

I bought a set because my stock ones went, and i was looking for a cheap but not s*** OEM upgrade/replacement. $140 or so for Megans? Took TWO WEEKS for the threaded heim to completely RIP out of the tension rod body. Two weeks! Of normal daily driving! Literally all of the teeth on the inside of the body were ripped off, and the heim would slide in and out of the TR body like a tiny c*** in a huge vag. Every time i'd hit the brakes, the heim would SLAM into the TR body, and cause a WICKED clunk.

This is also not the first time ive had an issue with their products. Their short shifter (even the v2) rattles like a mofo- the Circuit Sports one that I replaced it with does not. Megan's Type 2 3" exhaust is currently on my car... it works, but fitment was sub-par. I will never buy another Megan product again- the quality is JUST NOT THERE.
