hi, i was wondering if you really do gain horsepower from these and are they bad for your car?

im not sure but i think all those "kits" are is a resistor that hooks up to the temperature sensor and fools it into thinking your car is always cold (giving it a richer condition)

running rich isnt good for your car now is it ? :pface ive heard they will wear your engine faster, hell the ecu isnt even able to work right if your giving it bogus temps... id stay clear of em!

if your hell bent on it just buy resistor that will give you the same condition, a whole 50 cents at radioshack :rolleyes

Don't waste your money. It's another one of those "why waste money on a chip or ecu upgrade from a reputable company when you can waste less by giving it to some dumbass with a computer, a bunch of plastic boxes and a radio shack credit card" scams. They pretty much took the resistor idea and put it in a plastic box so that they can charge more for it.
