Do the new Q50's come with a tire jack tool kit?

In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

I recently bought a 2017 q50 and noticed it doesn't have a tire jack in the trunk. Should it or this something new since it uses runflats?

The owner's manual should cover this.

My RWD Q50 Red Sport came with Dunlop Sport Maxx summer run flats. No spare, no jack, and a basically useless lug wrench without other tools.

Run flats are supposed to give your about 50 miles at up tp 50 mph with a flat/puncture. I had a pothole blowout, drove about 10 miles to my house, zero air prssure, and had the car towed to the dealer from my house, was worried about the wheel taking damage.

Run flats work, but they are stupid expensive, noisy, and IMO stink compared to what I've had on my last three vehicles, Micelin Pilot Super Sports.

But, a great engine, I love my Red Sport, and with the Nissan Motorsport axelback exhaust dealers are getting and I had installed last week, it finally sounds like a 400hp soprt sedan should. Tires next..........

Don't quote me on this because my memory is a little fuzzy, but....

I think starting with the 2014 model year (at least on certain models) Nissan/Infiniti decided to omit the jack and spare tire if the vehicle was equipped with run flat tires. This supposedly served two functions, it reduced vehicle weight to help with fuel economy (I kid you not), and saved money (having run flats makes spare tires redundant).

That being said Maryland and one or two other states mandate that ALL new vehicles come with a spare tire and jack.

I have a '14 Q50 Premium and it ame with run flats. I considered changing to regular tires, but to put the spare kit in (was about $200 or so) in the trunk was going to raise the floor of the trunk 5 inches. I value the trunk space, so I went with the run flats in the end...

I don't think they do. My brother asked me to help him search for an OEM Infiniti spare wheel tire jack and was able to find this https://www.infinitipartsdeal.com/parts ... A001,99550 for $197.00. Good deal in my opinion for an OEM Infiniti part.

Spare tire kit was an option and it does eat up a bunch of trunk space to the point my wife wants me to remove the tire and platform when we go on vacation so there is more room for luggage. We have towing as part of our insurance so it's not that big of a deal.

Would you consider selling the spare kit at all, good sir? hahaha
