well, I was looking at my Haynes manual and It says to replace every 30K miles.. I just purchased my car about 2 and a half weeks ago, and I replaced the PCV and Fuel Filter on it. My fuel filter was pretty foul, the gas was **** brown coming out of it.

It wouldn't hurt to change it, along with the PCV valve. It was a part of removing my cold start issues.
