Do the brake lights turn on with ACC?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Just wondering whether the brakes lights turn on when the adaptive cruise control is slowing down the vehicle? When I follow a slower car I can feel the brakes being applied quite frequently to maintain the set distance, this must be incredibly annoying for the cars behind me if the brake lights keep turning on.

Cheers!

I often wonder about the same thing. I'm assuming that they do. I don't know if you've tried it, but this thing will practically come to a stop if it needs to. I've felt it break pretty hard. I'm sure the engineers decided to let the drivers behind the vehicle know that it's time to put on the brakes.

I would certianly hope that it does! You could always have a friend or someone follow right behind you and double check
