like the post title asks,, do sr or kade turbo pipes fit a kae? im trying to turbo my single slammer and i think cxracings price is a bit much,, if i can find parts and pay less id do that.

YES i searched and couldnt find nothing.

reason im asking this is bc i saw an ebay ad for a turbo manifold for the kae, and it says (word for word) "The exhaust manifold is the base for any turbo build and besides this part, most other parts are easily attained and are usually relatively universal between the KA and other turbo built motors. Intercooler piping and exhaust components can be used from SR built setups as well as DOHC KA motors."

my question is, is it true? 100% or 75% or 50%? about how many parts fit the kae application?

i think this post might be useful for somebody searching also

"Relatively universal"

Its gonna require some custom work.

If you have the KA24E, get s14 SR intercooler piping. The throttle body on the E's is on the top of the intake manifold, just like the s14 and up (I think) SR's. The DE uses a bottom mounted throttle body so you use s13 SR intercooler piping. As long as you get the correct style then the cold side piping will bolt right up, the hot side is what you are going to have to fab depending on your turbo location.

Chris' response was right on. Use an s14 SR pipe kit for a KA24E, use the s13 SR kit for a dohc KA setup. Cold pipes should line up very close, but may require a bent coupler (hose techniques.com). Your best bet. Make sure to whore out the E turbo build when you're done. I'd like to see

Awesome, thanks for clarifying that Didderson. I thought the s14 SR's had the top mounted throttle body but I've yet to learn as much about wimpy SR's as I know about the superior KA so I didn't know.
