i have this weird situation. my turbonetics deltagate is startin to act up. after i was constantly racing the next day, the car started feeling slower. i checked the boost gauge and it was only reading 5 psi. i'm like what da hell? the spring is set at 9 psi from the factory. my question is this. would the spring get weaker over time for it to start cracking open under light boost? i mean this wastegates got over 15K miles on it.

ive not sure. your best bet would be to get a new spring. what are they, like 10 dollars?

oh, ok. i mean, it COULD [spring sagged a little]

tighten it up a bit, if that doesnt fix it, start checking for leaks.

you said you were pushing it all day before it happened, you could have a loose IC pipe, or you blew a gasket somewhere [intake, exhaust manifold]
