Quick question-- I think this guy is trying to scam a buddy of mine on another forum. Sellign an S1 Rb turbo saying its save to 18-20psi because its metal wheeled and all my research says no. Is there a definative answer I can quote?

I have done all my research and it looks like every turbo is the same size, spec, and composition---just wanted to be 100% sure there isnt some weird model year, or specific time that they were made.

THanks,Eric

If it is bone stock it has a ceramic turbine(exhaust side). The compresser(intake side) is metal. It is possible to upgrade to metal but more then likly this guy is just trying to scam your friend.

I've heard those bulls*** internet rumors before also. Internet mechanics get the zenki having a metal COMPRESSOR wheel as opposed to the kouki compressor whee which is nylon confused with the exhaust wheel, which is always ceramic, and will always explode if pushed to much.
