Do other people name their cars? Or am I just silly?
Over the years I've always named my vehicles. My new Rogue (Iridium Graphite) is named Iris. Anyone else name theirs?

Unless "The Rogue" counts as a name, I'd say you're just silly

I name mine. My blue Cavalier was "Bloo Poo" and my Vibe was Sputnik. I'm stuck on naming the Rogue though - in fact my facebook profile asks people to help me name it!

I name my cars also.
I had a pajero when i was in college and name it Pajy lol. My cherokee jeep = Jeepy lol. My nissan sentra = Nissy lol. And guess what? My rogue = Rogy lol

I'm happy with Rogue-e-man, pronounced like Pokeman.
Despite loving cars, I've never personified them in any manner. I've also never been able to call a car anything but an "it"; never her or she's been really good.
My nicknames for cars have been:
- Integra GSR = Jeezer- Sevreal Maximas = Max or Maxi-pad- Both my G35s = The G or The Infiniti- Camry = Camry- 350Z Roadster = The Z, The 350, The Convertible- Mountaineer = The Explorer, The Truck, The Mounty (Ironically I almost always called it an Explorer when around company since most people don't know what a Mountaineer is).- MDX = The MDX, The Acura, The Truck, and I think I said, "The X" once. My g/f sometimes says, "The big car"- 300ZX = The TT, The 300. My g/f often said, "The yellow car"- Lexus LS400 = The Lexus, the LS
So I guess they get nicknames, but never anything not derived from the name.

I have the Silver Ice and I think I've settled on "Sylvester".
I had a Red 83 Toytoa Tercel and his name was Max. I never really named the 90 Grey Tercel I had (still have) maybe Maxine. I just got rid of my 2002 Maroon Mitsubishi Montero and just in the past few weeks of having her I had nicknamed her "Christine" after the movie. She was starting to breakdown on me and act all weird. And I don't remember if I ever named my 74 Orange Volkswagon Dasher I had in high school (my first car). So...no you're not really silly!

My rogue's name is Logan..
my boyfriend doesn't want to name one of our future kids Logan and i've always liked that name....so it's perfect for my new baby, the rogue! :-)

I named my Silver Ice “Storm” after driving her home from the dealer in a snowstorm (and then realized that it tied in nicely with the Rogue/X-Men theme). My previous car was a Corolla named “Rollababy” and before that, an old Tercel named “Foxy.” I like naming my vehicles!
