You're the dumbass if you didn't realize the ONLY non-limited edition RHD JDM sports car that can be legally imported is an R33 Skyline or something made in 1988 or before.

Sue him. The end.

Can't say I told YOU, I told you so, but I have told lots of people.

Man that sucks dude, I'm glad I read this before I gave him a deposit. I saw him advertising on modifiedcartrader a few weeks ago and we've been emailing him ever since. Good luck getting it resolved man.

I put a link to this thread in the listing. Scam artists have been doing this same thing for years. Called them out time and time again. Do your research. Know what is allowed, and what isn't allowed.

He deleted both of our comments and blocked us. :)

That's ok, we'll just send the link to everyone who comments on the ad. Can't make rent if you're continually having to cover your tracks, can ya Alex?

We've talked about it, but at some point I need to put together a database of all the past scammer info (going all the way back to the early 90's).

These guys have a way of crawling out of the filth every couple years.

By the way, Alex, you're a pu$$y for relying on someone else to get the title for your cars.

Not cool. Maybe that's how things work in your douchebag world, but real men don't do business that way.

You should probably get a real job, since you really suck at selling cars.

Ha! That's so funny. In the back of my head I was thinking what he was saying was too good to be true, especially when I already had all those issues with my last import. Now I figure I'm going to wait till the R32/R33's become 25 years old so I can import one legally (or at least exempt from the ban).

There is no "ban". They just don't meet US requirements. Once they are over 25 years old, not an issue. They no longer cut into Mercedes sales. Or actually, if you follow the link below, you will find out why the whole RI process exists as it does now.

Alex has issued me a partial refund of $500. The remainder is $1,000. He answers my texts and calls and is handling things properly as of now.

Good to hear you are at least getting some of your money back, any word on getting you a title yet?
