After reading many posts it seems the thing that makes the Q45 engine so hard to work on is the plenum. I was wondering if anyone knows is this something confined to Infiniti or are most modern engines as hard to work on.?

Not so much the plenum, but the hoses underneath.

All cars, except those running short velocity stacks to individual throttle bodies, have intake plenums.

So plenum is just another name for intake manifold?
