Guys,I got these little grills that go under the blinkers from junkyard and fabricated this DRL(daytime running light)/position light. It took about 30min for me to cut it using paper knife. What do you guys think? Should I go ahead and finish the passenger side? I have this thing for s13 kouki blinkers, so I came up with this. I was thinking about using amber bulb and hook it up with dim lights. Maybe I should move the bulb up a little bit, so it can be in the middle(vertically). Let me know...

check to see what it looks like turned on...just run the wires temporarily to the side marker light and check it out. it took me awhile to get used to my canadian DRL's but that was on my old car...and been thinking about doing it again, but with the LED ones.

Haha!! You are awsome timeless. Thanks!! Good thing that I asked. I think I'm going to get another grill and cut again, so the bulb can seat right in the middle vertically. Somehow, it bugs me. The bulb is some strong plastic outdoor bulb from Home Depot. I have to cut the back of this bulb, take the internals out and fabricate. Okay, I'll go ahead and do this. I'll keep the original grill, so I can go back to stock whenever I want.

I took some close up pics last night. I was going to use a little bit of JB Weld to glue the bulb to the grill. I still have to cut the back of the bulb, take the internals out, cut the back of the housing from old blinker and attach it to the bulb. Yeah, I wish someone came up with this in OEM like quality. I would definitely buy a set. To finish this project, I still want to find a round bulb with a durable plastic housing, and bit bigger than this, so I can have a better look and feel of s13 kouki blinker.

Alright, version 2 is out.I've been thinking the light is too small and didn't like it's not centered vertically, so I put a bigger one there. I don't know... It's better than small one, but I'm not sure if I really like this or not. The best place will be far right side, but that's where the screw goes. BTW, housing will be spray painted all black. Dang... I wish someone makes these and sell. I'd buy a set in a heartbeat if they look like stock as s13 kouki signals or lights on s15. Oh, well...

I think it would look better with a smaller light.

You mean white lip? It's S13 chuki OEM lip spoiler. Looks like it's no longer available. Black lip is Nismo add-on strip that protects front bumper or lip spoiler.http://www.courtesyparts.com/M..._Code=

Nope, you are not the first person. My wife doesn't like it either. She said there's too much going on in the front. Yeah, I think I'll keep the stock vents.

Thanks for the heads up. I just found a chuki OEM lip. Getting it Friday. I'm going to check out that Nismo one.

I have instruction and Nismo certification in a box somewhere in my garage but it's hard to browse through and find it. It's not easy to put that under OEM spoiler. OEM spoiler doesn't have enough space under there, so I had to do some custom work to make it fit. If you just add it on to the lip spoiler, it'll definitely fall off sooner or later.

Sorry BOOM. I'm not feeling it. If my car is black or red, I would have Canadian DRLs and Yanak yellow bulbs just like Adrians has on his hatch. Canadian DRLs don't look good on white 240s. Well, at least I tried.

I forgot to mention that you could do it like his, except with white lights because yellow wouldn't look good on yours.

But to each his own.
