a high flow walbro and the stock SR's fpr tends to raise the fuel pressure, and make things run on the rich side

I bought a nismo adjustable fpr and dialed it to the stock pressure (43 psi I think) using a gauge

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.I bet your over 55psi right now, without the FPR.Get a gauge & FPR.

and yes it is really worth it.You will be fouling plugs, building up unneccesary carbon on you valves, pistons, etc.I mean running rich isn't all that bad for now,but in the long run it can cost you more than a FPR.

Probably not that much will be gained back on economy.

FPRs are not power adders. So don't expect power.

On a related note, which line do you install the fuel pressure gauge along? The line going from the fuel rail to the fuel filter or the line going from the fuel pressure regulator to the hardline?

You want it on the pressurized line....so before the fuel rail from the filter.

I have Nismo FPR that I've been lagging on putting on. Good thing I read this thread cuz I did not realize it was such an issue.

I dont understand why people have issues, I run a walbro 255lph fuel pump and I dont run rich, and I get good gas mileage still, also monitered via wideband
