After having my car tuned and it still not running right, I am currently trying to get it back to stock and go from there. I recently discovered my series1 rb25det has an rb20's maf on it. My tuner told me that he had to adjust my maps because the rb20 maf reads the voltages as being a different amount of air than the rb25's. So, when I change out my ecu with someone else's stock one, will I also have to find an rb25 maf?

Discovering something would require it being discoverABLE. I can no more discover that the two mafs are the same than I can discover that I am the king of England: Neither are true. rb20 is 4 pin, rb25 is 5 pin, and vg30 is 6 pin. The 25 also reads voltages differently than the 20, and therein lies the cause for my concern.

I was hoping for more erudite responses...

The "+1" post from l0nestar I REALLY don't know what to do with...
