Do I need to gap NGK Iridium spark plugs before installing? Are they under something in the engine because I can not find them. I saw pictures but on my car I can't see where it is.

NO!!! Do NOT gap Iridium plugs, if you don't break the iridium tip off, more than likely you've chipped or scratched the iridium off the tip. I've been working at O'Reilly auto parts for 5 years and I've seen more people come back within five hundred miles saying that the plugs suck. Then I look at the plug and 90 percent of the time the fine iridium tip is gone!!

The plugs sit under coil packs, you have to unclip the coil pack unbolt it and then you sould see the plugs. Pretty straight forward, look in the FSM

...Not to mention that it states directly on the front crossmember right there when you open up the hood that spark plugs do not need to be gapped.

And yes, there are individual coils for each cylinder. We have a COP (Coil-On-Plug) style ignition system.

I would not buy the NGK Iridiums, but if you already did, check the gap. The stock NGK Nissan plug comes pregapped if the correct plug for this car is purchased, but Iridiums are not application specific for the Z like the PFR plug was. I would just check to make sure it's at the factory gap setting. Just make sure if you have to tweak it that you don't touch the Platinum electrode. If it's chipped or scratched it's garbage.
