Do I need the 97 240 ka fuel rail + wires when I swap it into my 91 240?

I REALLY don't want to swap these two. It doesn't look easy in the least, so if I can get away with maybe a check engine light that would be fine I suppose.

My other question is do I have to swap intake manifolds too? What are the consequences if I don't?

At this point, I've spent 2 weeks just disconnecting hoses and taking off bolts and screws from the transmission and motor, and the last thing I want to have to do is another project swapping those two things haha. Thanks all.

use the block and head from the 97 and everything else use from your busted 91

The old motor threw a rod. The crank shaft is probably destroyed and the block I'm sure is damaged from the rod bouncing round in the motor. Piston probably not recoverable either. I need to swap the entire motor over, just need the very minimum from my old motor.

Anyone? If I don't hear anything I'm just going to swap the entire motor over and not swap anything between the two motors. I don't see any reason not to do so. I don't care if it fails emissions, I just want it to run.
