Im looking at the sportmax 962 wheels. 17x9 rear and 17x7 front... Would I need to run spacers on the wheels for clearance purposes? Im getting megan track coilovers soon so it will be low. As for tires, what do you think? Im getting Nexen N3000's, i like 225/45-17 front and 245/45-17 rear...

Thanks

So If I run 17x9 with a 45mm offset what spacer should I run? I want my car low when the coilovers are installed.

17x9 are +35 offset.plus a 25mm spacer is +10

you might get away with a 10mm spacer if you want.

just run 25 mm up front and that will make them pretty flush all the way around. or at least thats how mine worked out 17x7 up front 17x9 in the back

Get 17x9 +35 all around, get 25mm spacers.

Run 215/40/17 up front, 225/45/17 out back.

Slam it.

or just get real wheels with a real offset.

why use spacers when you can find wheels with right offsets. 17x9 +10 to +20 offsets.

I see the spacing as 4x4.5 and 4x100... Not 4x114.3...

*sigh*

A 7 inch wide wheel on a 240 is complete FAIL. If you have your heart set on 962's, get the manly sizes... Search for pics of FourLugHero. He has 17x9+35 up front and 18x9.5+35 out back on his white coupe. I think he's running 25mm spacers all around. Looks awesome with that 3 inch lip up front and the 3.5 inch lip in the back.

Here ya go. If your 962 fitment doesn't look like this, then you fail. Hard.

With all of that cash flo, you should be able to afford cooler wheels. Just get the x9's (if your set on 962's) all around, and then get spacers to make them more flush I guess.

Before you buy, go to rimtuck.com and look at the difference between s13's with 17's all around and 17/18 staggered.

The rear wheel wells make 17's look dinky. But if you wanna stick with 17's all around, at least you'll be able to rotate your tires...

BTW, I'm not telling ya what to do... just helping ya examine your options. I want your car to look badass, too.

Hey how would you think 962 with the same set up as Forlug will look on a hatch?

Hot.

Spacers aren't as wide as FourLug's and car isn't as low, but you get the idea. However Fourlug clearly proves that you don't need widebody fenders to run these sizes, though.
