do i need get new seats?

my air bags deployed in my leather seats and someone is tellin me that I have to get new back for my driver and passenger seat or can I just get airbags to replace the deployed one.

when my drivers side airbag went off when someone T-boned my 2008 coupe it ripped the stitches and the dealer replaced the whole seat.

how much was in to replace it?

sry i don't remember, the damage was over 10K so the insurance paid for it. worst part was it took long to get all the parts in since the coupe was still new then.
ever think about putting in some sparco race seats? i know their not for everyone, but that could be an cool idea.
