Okay, I'm going to be running 370cc injectors, and am currently looking into getting an SAFC. Since the SAFC changes the signal from the 240's MAF to match the injectors, would I really need one if I were running a 300zx's MAF? Wouldn't that already give out the correct voltage for the injectors?

your ECU will not know your running a z32 MAF unless you configure the signal from the SAFC...you also need to use the SAFC to set the maps for the fuel....only a tuned ECU like JWT or enthalpy would not require you to get a piggy back

Short answer: To run bigger injectors OR any different MAF on a stock ECU, you need some piggyback controller, like an S-AFC.

The VOLTAGE CURVE is different...so it's not a matter opf matching MAF + injectors...its a matter of the ECU expecting to see a certain airflow voltage for a given RPM and load...and the Z32 MAF curve is QUITE different than the stock MAF curve.

The S-AFC translates the Z32 curve and makes it "look" like the S13/S14 curve to the ECU.

Okay, so to make 370cc injectors work like stock the SAFC should be set at -27% across the board. What should it be set at with a z32 MAF?

you should really just get a wideband and find out..i know people with 370cc's and dont use -27% because all cars are different

Well, i can't really dish out the money for a wideband just yet. That's one of those down the road things when I upgrade over 7 pounds and tune myself. Even after I get the turbo hooked up and everything, -27% should be just fine enough to make it to get it tuned about an hour away as long as I don't really hit boost.
