I have a few question that I can't seem to find the answer to after searching multiple threads. Can I get by without the SAFC II if I'm planing on getting my ecu tuned by Enthalpy? How about timing, can I get by with just backing off the timing a few degrees or MUST I dish out the $$ to get a MSD BTM? Is the SAFC II just for fine tuning your A/F ratios? Doesn't Enthalpy already do that? And isn't the Enthalpy ecu "plug 'n play"? Sorry if these are such noobie questions, I'm just trying to make the right decisions here before doing my turbo KA. I'm planing on not boosting above 10 psi with stock internals. My 240 is a daily d. I'm just trying to weed out the "nice to have" stuff from the "need to have" stuff. Any advice will greatly be appreciated. Thanks!

No you dont need a SAFC 2 if your getting the enthapy tune. I dont even think you'll need the msd btm because the enthapy tune already alters your timing. But if this car is your daily driver I dont think I would boost over 10psi. I guess I just like to keep it safe.

I would definitely get a wideband on it after you get the enthalpy installed. as long as your AFR's are alright, there's no need for SAFC tuning.

What's a wideband? Is it that thing that hooks up to the O2 sensor? What does it do? Why would I need it?

It doesn't actually hook in to your O2 sensor, but it has a sensor that looks like an O2. Basically all a wideband does is monitor and tell you what your A/F ratio is so you can make sure you don't go to lean or to rich.
