When the clutch is all the way to the floor and you still move that means the clutch isnt disengaging completely. You just need to adjust the clutch pedal.
You will need 1 of each: pliers, 12mm wrench, 14mm wrench
12mm wrench is to losen and tighten the locking nut on the shaft going to the master cylinder. Pliers are used to turn the shaft, there is a rough section that makes it easy to grab, turn it from there. The shaft adjusts where the plunger in the master cylinder starts off from. (more or less push)
14mm wrench is for the stopper bolt, this determines how much pedal travel you want.
Just get under the dash and look at the clutch pedal assembly underneath, its all pretty self explanatory. If the clutch you bought uses more travel than stock then just move the stopper bolt back a bit. Also give the shaft going to the MC a few turns so that it is alittle more into the pedal assembly (direction away from dash). This will give you alittle more travel and will disengage the clutch more.
Do the opposite if you need less travel. Just remember with the pedal fully pressed down the clutch should be fully disengaged, engine rpm should not dip at all, car should not move. Also have at least 1/4"-1/2" of freeplay at the top of the clutch pedal to make sure your not putting any pressure on the throwout bearing when the pedal is fully depressed.
Its easy to do... just mess around with it and youll get the pedal how you want it. And to answer your question, no... YOU DONT NEED A NEW CLUTCH. If you still have problems the system might just need to be rebled. if that still doesnt help then you need a new MC or SC.
New Clutch = only when it slips while fully engaged.
