Do grounding kits really work? Any other alternatives?

General discussion forum about the 240sx, and a great place to introduce yourself to the board!

This may or may not be the right place for this thread but i was wondering if those grounding kits would help with some of my electrical issues. My main issue is probably not enough power being delivered to everything due to too much things. I have all my electronics for my turbo setup as well as a sound system in the trunk. I was looking into three options to fix this:

A. upgraded alternator (most costly option)B. use larger wires to the alternatorC. grounding kit

So what would you do and why?

oooooooo you made a poll in another thread.I don' care. But yea I replied to it the best I could.I just read earlier today where the grounding kit gave 9rwhp and it was proven on a dyno.Think it was an apexi grounding kit if i remember correctly.

My experience with one was as follows:

Car starts fasterIdles smootherAnd high rpms are significantly smoother

Plus it looks cool in the engine bay, I would recommend getting one, can’t hurt
