I just bought a 2006 Pathfinder to replace my 2003. The 06 does not have running boards. I would like them on the new truck, and wonder if I can take them from my 2003 and install them on the 2006? I know anything "can" be made to work, but is this a very close fit and simple install?

well honestly I think you should be able to answer your own question, take a look at the running boards on your 03 and measure them and see how they are mounted then go take a look at your 06 and compare.

If you can't get the 03's to work you can buy some aftermarket 06 running boards on ebay

I think the ebay ones are crappy, and probably have chinsy one size fits all brackets. I need to be able to step on it to help get into the truck and to get to the roof racks. I like the OEM ones, but new they are too expensive to justify for a 14 year old truck. I would get under it and measure except for an injury that makes it difficult to get under a vehicle repeatedly. If I knew they would work I was going to hire the work done to swap them over. But thanks for the input
