Do BeeR's kill SR20's?

im SURE this is a repost at this stage but ive searched in the history and i cant find the answer to this, obviously I'd be combining one with an upgraded rocker arm stopper but everyone on this side of the pond says that they wreck the engines- so im asking the experts

Engines I doubt unless your setting your limiter to 7000 rpms. Turbos yes. Its cutting timing and throwing fuel into turbo hot side causing an explosion inside of the exhaust housing. Spools the turbo but destroys the bearings.

yea dont install the BeeR limiter lol Why do you need it?

nah its just i was able to get one cheap and i was tempted but i reckon I'll give it a miss now, cheers for the info

I mean they are great if you need something for flat foot shifting or launch control but pointless if its just cause it looks cool.

Bee R should be alright. I run a Import Intellegence on mine and hasnt created a problem yet. The Anti Lag systems is what usually blow up turbos over time. I would take alot of use though.
