I'm shopping for new driver and passenger seats for an 89 240SX and was wondering if APC racing seats fit well. They are fairly inexpensive so I don't expect too much quality wise. I'm interested in the fit but no one who sells these seats can answer that question for me. They don't offer installation and can't even refer me to a place will put them in. I'm having a hard time finding original stock seats and I would really like to get a pair of Sparco Torinos b/c I know how those will fit but they are out of my budget right now. If anyone has installed or tried to install APC seats into a 240SX I would like to know if it's worth the effort. Thanks.

No, they sit too high when installed.

if you have an s13/89-94 240sx you can look for a set of s14 seats. try them out to see if you like it. if you already have an s14 i'd suggest you just save your money. apc is a brand we all dislike. or save up for 1 seat instead of 2 if you're on a budget.

and I've sat in APC seats, the most awful seat design imaginable, they were uncomfortable just sitting in them, let lone driving. I'm a big guy, and they were too wide even for me, lol.

you forgot the "nt" after the "do" chief

for seats, on a tight budget, either s15 silvia or r32 skyline seats are real nice, heck if you want even s14 seats are a step up from s13 seats

I'm still trying to find original stock seats but in the meantime I've been looking online and came across Ractive and Tenso racing seats. Are they any good? Thumbs up/down?

I found an online store that's selling a pair of 72000 Ractive Racing Seats for $350US. For $425US they will ship it to my door. I will have to pay customs and taxes on top of that but it's still less expensive than buying them locally from a store.
