You can make a separate thread for that.audtatious wrote:Where's the "I don't really care but would still like to see Obama release all his school records, thesis, etc. as it goes against his promise of transparency" option?
Um actually, I believe he's a citizen.OutToWinPAHC wrote:His mother was a US citizen, he was born in the US. What's the issue or the problem. Just because his father was not American it doesn't mean he isn't. This thread sucks.
No point as not releasing his BC also goes against his claim of transparency.Kohster wrote:

You've never heard of impeachment? There are campaigns going on to impeach him for not being a citizen.marlin29311 wrote:Everyone needs to drop this subject. Like now. He's the POTUS. What, are we going to kick him out of office retroactively now?.
There has been like 23049823049283 checks on this already. People need to STFU and get a life. We've got more important stuff to worry about, like how Obama is going to destory health care or the war in the Middle East. Seriously.Kohster wrote:

And the debate DOES have an end.
I'm thinking of impeaching this thread actually. It's redundant, and dumb too. Being both makes it double dumb. DD, like DareDevil. Ban Affleck played DareDevil, and he sucked, like this thread does.Kohster wrote:

More straw man arguments. Show proof that Bush lied. Show proof that the protesters at the town hall meetings are all paid by the GOP (future straw man argument).hannibal wrote:Like Iraq has WMDs?? Oops, thats was Bush's lie.
You mean stuff like Bush said God told him to invade Iraq? Yeah, thats as funny as claiming our current prez is not a US citizen.
I'm trying to draw a distinction btw a president speaking falsely and others speaking falsely about the president. There is a significant difference. People can develop any rumors they want. But a president spouting rumors is a different story.themadscientist wrote:Trying to justify bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior doesn't work with grown-ups. I'll give you a mulligan.
There are those high up in the military that I've spoken with that are now civilians that say they have seen WMDs in Iraq on intelligence reports. They say it's just a matter of trying to find them. There's a vast dessert out there and governments willing to take them.hannibal wrote:Like Iraq has WMDs?? Oops, thats was Bush's lie.

He's trying. Rome wasnt built in a day, the Iraq war wasnt a seven day affair, and health care reform wont happen over night.AZhitman wrote:Lots of distractions here.
How about if he just does what he promised?
I'll rock a BO sticker on every car in my fleet if he does what he promised the Amurican people he would (or could) do.
Insert mad's quote here...AZhitman wrote:Unrealistic?
Yeah. It was unrealistic when the lefties demanded it of GWB, too.
That's OUR line.hannibal wrote:We cant just walk out of Iraq.
LOL!AZhitman wrote:That's OUR line.
Agreed. I just don't like the "hurry up and approve this or you're unAmerican" nonsense I'm seeing re: bailouts, environmental proposals, and healthcare reform.
And no, I'm not trying to justify bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior.
See, the bad behavior of the GOP is in the past. Cost them an election. I don't justify it at all. Their errors, however, do not absolve the DNC from scrutiny and accountability, and I will point out the hypocrisy I'm seeing now at every turn.
So, mad's quote doesn't apply. I'm raining accountability on the current administration.
Get an umbrella - or better yet, a helmet.
Yep.hannibal wrote:As long as its done in the interest of finding solutions, as compared to criticizing an opposing view.
