Well, the reason why I havent been on these forums for the past few months is because I have kinda picked up BMXing or whatever, of course, once i have the money for my 240, I will buy it and be heavily involved in these foums once again. But I just wanted to know, and sorry if there was a recent thread on this topic. By the way, i can manual around 30 ft, do tailwhips, barspins, pogo, ride backwards, do dork wheelies, one foot, one peg wheelie, endo and other crap, all this within 2 months of pcking up my bmx bike. Its an old Haro F-Series with a specialized 415 fork, 3 piece crank and 44t sprocket, and handle bars, and head set, and stem.

Damn man I used to want to race bikes. Then I started work and well that ended that. I have a 95 or so mongoose expert comp, and a Huffy pyro. Both are pretty sweet, well the mongoose needs to be restored. I don't ride much anymore though. Man mad props on flatland skills. The manual always messed me up. I just couldn't get it down. Me and my friends would build dirt jumps and stuff, but never went to the local track. Skateparks were nowhere near either.

I hate when people use the term BMX to describe dirt-jumping and freestyle riding.

BMX is competitive racing, in either ABA or NBL sanctioned events. My son is a former National Title Holder in ABA (he raced for Staats, Free Agent, and UFO/Wild Child).

I've got a lot of respect for the freestylers/dirtjumpers, though. I remember when a backflip was the SICKEST stunt ever, and only a couple people had attepted it. Now it's commonplace, and guys are doing double backflips and adding twists and other tricks... Wow.

p.s. I have a custom-made UFO Junior for sale, over $2K invested, first $600 takes it. Good for a serious rider age 6-9.
