do all nissan 2.4 motors have blow-bye.

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

i have a ka24de and a ka24e motor and when i take the oil cap off of them it feels like pressure coming from the engine,does all 2.4 nissan engines do that or what.just wondering

I was wondering the same thing. I felt air blowing out after I took off my oil cap with my 91 240 idling. I never tried it after my motor was overhauled. I don't know?

that is an old trick that can only be used on really old engines, on these it is called positive crankcase ventilation, now im gonna stop there and you guys go do your research, all im going to tell you is that your engines are fine and there is no blow-by

All motors have blow by.

its actually a form of windage from the crank spinning and slight blow by from the piston rings and vacume from the intake many..hence the "PCV" Positive Crankcase Vent garbage
