I was wondering if the 2000 Anniversary Edition touring models come already equipped with the heated seats option.

If anyone knows for sure that would be great. Need a car-guy trivia question answered.

Thanks,

Ted, Chicago

As they are based on the t model, yes.

The ae is a 2000 model. The 2000 t had heated seats.

Funny...because my base 98 model has heated seats. I would think anything newer than my model should atleast have the options that I have now.

My AE, from Florida, does not have heated seats. My "99 T did - I miss them.

If I am not mistaken, there is only 1 model of 2000 and that is the ae, as I was told by the dealership here, I was asking if mine was a "t" model and if it came with the same horsepower rating as the t, or if it was like the standard q45, after looking into it and asking the main tech there, they told me the 2000 Q45 did come without the AE package, but any AE 2000 q45 is the "t" model, and definately has the same power output.......... but that said, my ae2000 does not have heated seats or AC but just a climate control that goes only to 65 degrees.

I think all the Infiniti's only go to 65 degrees. I have a 97' T that has the heated seats in CA, it was part the Touring package according to what I remember. The horsepower ratings have not ever altered between touring and non-touring, all 266HP. The Touring in 97' was perforated leather steering wrap, heated seats, stiffer springs & shocks, & rear spoiler.

now imagine the 2000 AE came with a 300hp Vh or the 330hp Vk. How sweet would that be?

YES! I would have bought the brand new one instead of the used 97' I bought. Still I love my car...if I could swap to the 02' engine I wouldn't sell the car ever.

I will upgrade my Q one of these days, but not anytime soon. Just wanted to clarify that not all AE models come with heated seats. That's the one option I wish I had - especially today in Tampa...

2000 is the only year of FGY33 that came in 3 model trims - Standard, T and ae.

The only ae I have seen (only 2 or 3) all had heated seats, as did the few2000 t models I have seen.

Probably part of the Nissan decontenting saga like the non-look down in reverse and no memory side mirrors. I couldn't believe that at first.

What year does that kit fit? 97 or 2000, I take it that the 99' is not a fit.

Doesn't fit our 97-98 model. That sucks the person he purchased it from stuck it to him like that. If I had the model with the maple wood, that would look line. I could do without some of the pieces though.
