Do aftermarket valve springs need aftermarket retainers???

I bought a set of BC valve springs because i got a really good deal on them, and i am going to put them in next week w/ my HKS 272/272 cams and head gasket. However, is it necessary that i buy the BC titanium retainers or can i use the stock ones? Are there any pro's or con's to doing that? Thanks for all the help in advance!!!!!

The stock retainers are fine. You'll save some valvetrain weight with the Titanium ones though.
