Such an unbelievable waste of money, isn't it?

Aren't these conventions (both sides) kinda forgone conclusions? So, why hold them?

Actually, it's far from a waste. The DNC is really in need of a rally point for party unity. This is Hillary's chance to put her support and her support base behind the party and Obama. It also generates a ton of publicity for the candidates as well as gives the public the chance to hear the candidates stance on some major issues.

Most people don't have the time to watch, I bet.

Far better to hear these in a debate format! Because, it is too easy to just spew rhetoric in these one-sided, feel-good, events ... I have listened to them in the past and decided "never again".

By the way, in case it was not obvious, I am not picking on the DNC ... I think it is silly for both sides to have these Conventions.

Apparently I-25 is going to be shut down for 5 hours on Thursday because of Obama moved his speech from the Pepsi Center to Invesco Field. Since I-70 and I-25 merge right in Denver, wonder what that is going to do to traffic around rush hour on Thursday.

I don't watch either of them. Cliffs Notes will be busted up all over the place afterward and that's where the comedy begins.

LOL. All the women up on stage to woo supporters of Hillary who were pissed of by the sexism of liberal media.
