DMV inspection!?? What to do?!!

Hello guys, I'm currently planning to buy a 1995 240sx with an SR20DET motor, and I got a few questions.

Anyone here from NY state, who owns a SR20DET?Does the SR20DET pass emmission inspection for NY state?If not what else can I do?

Please help me out.

i dont know none in new york but you can always come to new jersey u have a bunch out here.

heavy throttle is in new york, just not sure what part of the state though.

Jeff @ Heavy Throttle will probably direct you to Built Performance. When Jeff was installing engines these guys were his mechanics. They bought the garage and soter from Jeff and now he only does retail sales (good prices too). Dirving 4hrs to go to someone that has probably swapped 100 SRs is nothing for the peace of mind and you'll have no headaches later in life when some sketchy bit of wiring causes some ungodly failure in your car.
