Hello I'm new to this forum, I registered for my girlfriend because the dealer said she has to clean her throttle body, I can feel a difference in response when I drive it, it seems to have a late response and rather then take it to the stealership and spend a ridculous amount of money for a simple maintenance I want to do it myself since I managed to do mine on my 2004 rx8. I had no luck finding a DIY on her exact year and model car on here and on YouTube. I know it's a simple DIY but I am a very thorough person and I don't like making mistakes so if anyone has done this already can you please shine some light on how to do it step by step without having to reset anything. I know that her 2012 Sentra has a electric throttle body so I won't unplug anything or move the throttle body plate. But I would appreciate any help. Thanks ahead of time.

I have the older model sentra and honestly, I would get a second opinion on that throttle body cleaning because you might not need it.

Find out why the car is boggin down seeing that it is only three years old because they might be trying to get out of warranty work.
If anything is WRONG with the car, the work should be free. So make them clean it for free if there is indeed something wrong with the throttle body.

I actually just went to the dealer not too long ago with my girlfriend and they suggested to clean the throttle body and they're charging $90 for it so I think she's out of the warranty thanks for the opinion though
