My bf has some scratches on his passenger door panel (my fault) It's made of black vinyl, the marks aren't deep, but VERY white - are there any products that are safe to use to cover up scratches/remove scuffs? He's taking his car in to get inspected soon but I'm wondering if this is something we can fix without get it professionally detailed. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!

I gather you're doing a lease return? I would try some Lexol Vinylex, or any sort of rubber conditioner. Might also try a black permanant marker... just mark all over the scratch, then immediately wipe with conditioner to work it in... If you're just trying to pass an inspection for a lease return a permanant solution probably isn't a concern...
