I'm down to pretty minimal AM reception. Big stations fade after 20 miles. Is there a cheat sheet for R&R-ing the antenna? It rolls up and retracts just fine. But somewhere has lost contact ... with something. This can't be too tough. Any help is appreciated.

check resistance with VOM between car body and mast base-might have a bad ground due to corrosion

There's a plug where the actual antenna connection goes into the wiring harness, I guess it could have come lose which would essentially mean no antenna. It's behind the panels in the Q.

Corrosion seems a possibility. Minnesota and 270K. HOW do I get at this and check and/or fix?
