Hey guys- I just did my calipers a couple of days ago. heres a write up for anyone interested in doing them for their car.

1. Go to PepBoys or Autozone or if you want to really customize the color go to the Duplicolor Website and pick up a Caliper Paint Kit. costs you around $20.This pic shows everything that come with the paint kit( caliper cleaner, masking tape, applying brush, paint, stiring stick are included in this kit)

2. Buy a Duplicolor High Performance Wheel Coating Clear coat as well, so that the paint lasts for a long time.3. A sandpaper would really help have a smooth look.4. An abrasive Brush would help to clean the calipers as well. any brush with aluminum bristles would do the job5. They provide you with masking tape, but i didnot use it. if youre drunk or high, then you might want to tape some parts, so the paint doesnt go everywhere

Ok now for the fun part

1. Jack up the car and put jackstands all around. 2. give your calipers a good powerwash.3. Apply the caliper paint cleaner and use the abrasive brush to clear out all the dirt.4. sand the calipers. dont apply too much pressure 5. open the caliper paint and mix it well, so it is liquidy. ( Do it with the stick they provide)6. Apply 2 light coats and then a heavy 3rd coat. 4rth coat might be necessary on the front calipers. give around a 20min gap between each coat.7. after you are done with all four sides let it dry for 30 mins.8. Then give two clear coats, 10 mins between each.9. let alll of this dry for 2-3 hrs, and you can put your wheels back on.10. Youre done, enjoy the new look you created

Before

After

Clean your garage and dont forget to get the neighbors cat.

Great! Now where are the step by step pix?

Also, did you buy a special high-temp clear coat? Did they provide a brush to apply the paint?

Now you need to think of a Custom Title!

You get an "A" for effort!

I knew you just needed incentive.

Good job!

Good job not painting the pads and half the rotors.

If you have anymore pics I am sure Nate would be more than willing to add that too the Infiniti Articles section.

Good Job Sean I really like the interim custom title.

Nice write up! The way you decribe things is so precise and yet very interesting and fun to read. I had to giggle at the portion about being drunk and using the masking tape.
