I know this is a super old post, but I was wondering if anyone has any input on a thermostatic adapter for the block to allow a remote oil filter instead of the thermostatic sandwich plate listed in here? I really don't want to spend 150 on the grex adapter then a mocal sandwich is $85, anyway to use the Mocal sandwich with a remote filter?

just be careful what filter you put on the reloc kit. an OEM vg30 one will leak cuz of o-ring ID size
