You just reminded me to do the brake fluid. I never done it before so I will have to read more on it (I remember there is a post earlier about it so I can always put it up on my ipad while doing it :)
I also need to clean my engine filter (k&n). Maybe I should start doing it on even mileage too (58K right now) (I got BAD memory lol)
And I was late doing the transfer case and differential (first time at around 56k) so the fluid came out "BLACK" for the front lol
brake fluid is easy, you just need a helper to pump, then press & hold the brake pedal while you unscrew the bleeder valve (allowing some fluid to escape) and then close the bleeder valve - all the while the person is pushing down on the brake pedal. simply repeat the process, starting from the passenger rear tire, then driver rear, then front passenger, and finally driver front tire. also make sure to add fluid into the reservoir s you go. never allow it to inhale air, or you will be stuck redoing it 3 more times lol

How offen do you need to do that? I think I had a shop do that an year ago.
Also another question. Since I am near 60k, should I (dealer) change the cvt fluid?
I just got my inspection done 2 days ago and the dealer didn't say anthing about it (either they didn't check it or its still ok)
I also replace the serpintine belt (the service guy told me) Part is $56.70 and labor is $99.50 (for half hour work) ~.~

How many of you use regular oil (5w-30) for oil change? Also, I saw the instructions for DIY oil change in the manual, but curious how hard is it? I am a noob when it comes to automotive DIY.

I have switched to full synthetic less than a year ago. Invest on this thing and make your oil change easy and mess-free: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000GU0MMU

No need to worry about over-tightening the oil drain plug or replacing the washer.

The oil filter can be accessed on the right fender wheel well. Turn your wheel to the right to gain more clearance to access this oil filter. No need to jack the car or go under it.
