09 Mo - DIY instructions for tilt/telescope motor replacment

I have seen on the forum all the talk about the tilt and telescoping motors that have gone bad. My are both done. Seems very strange they both go at the same time?? I also read that in many cases it's not the motor but the gears. I am here to ask 2 questions then.

1) Does anyone have instructions, photos anything to document how to remove covers to gain access and replace the motors??

2)Has anyone found just gears to replace rather than buying a $205 tilt motor and a $231 telescoping motor?

Any help, instructions or better pricing would be greatly appreciated.
